Soccer - America's largest youth sport!!

Soccer is the world's most popular sport - and for a reason. It requires very little equipment, is great exercise, and had fairly simple game rules. Club Sport Kids soccer leagues encourage kids to learn and play soccer in a fun, no-pressure environment. Soccer is offered for kids ages 3-12 split into four different age groups (depending on location). The goal is to get every player the maximum playing time throughout the game while teaching basic elements of strategy and fair play. Get your questions answered here!

Age groups

We have multiple age levels of play are available depending on the location: 3-4 year olds, 5-6(7) year olds, 7-9 year olds, 10-12 year olds, 13-15 year olds. This makes it so the kids are most likely playing other players their same or similar age. We allow players to "play up" an age group but usually never "play down". All the teams formed are coed and requests for team placement can be made.

** Depending on the number of teams, some games may be played outside of this time slot or age groups altered. Teams are encouraged to practice the hour prior to their game if possible.

League Cost

The "EARLY BIRD" cost is $99/player if signed up by Jan 31. The cost after Jan 31 is $109/player. There is a sibling discount of $75 for additional siblings for multiple registrations for one child. This includes 8 weeks of play, soccer jersey, shorts, socks, field space, referees (depending on age group), award metals, and end-of-season pizza at the field!

Cost for the Safety Harbor league for City of Safety Harbor residents is $85 before Jan 31 ($95 after 1/31) and $75 for siblings.

There is an additional $10 late fee FOR ALL PLAYERS for registering after the deadline date! We cannot take team requests for registrations after the deadline date.

Age group explanations

Age group	Description
3-4 year olds	Players are taught the basics of the game, but the rules are just guidelines. Score is not kept, games tend to be more freeform - very much for fun.
5-6/7 year olds	Players have a bit more skill and speed, but it is still a learning process Coaches still need to guide players around and keep them organized. For Sawgrass & Safety Harbor this group includes 7 year olds (5-7 age bracket) playing on the smaller fields.
7-9 year olds	A little more organized on a bigger field with refs. Coaches still are used on the field to guide players and help with strategy.
10-15 year olds	While still played for fun, the play is left up to the players who should have a working grasp of where to be, what to do.

Coaches Needed!

Nothing is more rewarding than coaching your child! All of our teams have volunteer coaches to help develop both their playing skills and good sportsmanship. If you are interested, you can note this on your child's registration. Plus we provide jerseys for all coaches so you can match your team! We do provide some coaching tips here.

Do you (or someone you know) need assistance in paying for a league?

Club Sport Kids has a limited number of donated league spots to help parents and players who otherwise may not be able to afford to play.
